Haversacksales.com is a wholesale website for buyers, featuring over 50 brands and 9,000 products. Brand pages give buyers insight into the quality, style and ethos of each maker we represent. Extensive menu collections and product tags allow buyers to filter and work quickly. Our homepage allows us to feature trending products or to spotlight key brands.
Of note: I loved working with the brilliant developer who built out/manages Haversack's intricate FileMaker sales platform, assisting in creating connections between the new Shopify site and the existing sales platform.
SDF's owner loves color and fun and bringing people together through dance, and her site reflects this. It displays movement and emotion in both still imagery and video, and attempts to highlight the amazing energy (and community) behind this beloved business. Member holders enjoy access to a membership area with on-demand library.
I built this to help streamline Jessica's offerings and show off her individual style and friendly connection to her community. Today, her business is constantly growing and evolving, so the site does the same.

Sandra's original site, also built on WiX, required modernization and mobile responsiveness, and to display a far greater number of photo portfolios, as well as press features and mentions.
I aimed to create a site that could display her incredible design, allow her voice to come through in both content and imagery, and do so in a way that compliments (and does not distract from) her beautiful work.

During the pandemic, founder and owner, Kevin, worked passionately to give kids (including his own) the opportunity to safely stay active and engaged during lockdown. As the world opened back up, his outdoor summer camp concept led to after-school enrichment, all while keeping his original intention: active engagement, screen-free activities, high-quality programming.
I enjoyed helping organize a TON of information and resources for various camp/care types and ensuring people can find what they need and get signed up, allowing parents and caregivers real-time registration information and working-age teens a place to get their first jobs.

This doctor-owned, specialty Physical Therapy group originally created their own website. They were ready for a revamp! Content is incredibly patient-focused... rich in resources and generous in language, that folks suffering from dizziness are seeking.
I worked hard to separate and reorganize the information they featured into a new, extensive menu, and to help source free photography available within WiX. I designed towards an audience of all ages, who may be suffering from visual impairment.
Of note, vestibular physical therapy is not always known by the medical community, so we wanted to ensure their site and specific services are easy to find and quickly understood by referring providers.

Created for a fine artist with an incredible portfolio, and an interest in selling her designs on clothing.
When she described her art to me, I noticed she had pension for poetry; I had an idea that she write a poem to go with each design, which helped us create a complete online portfolio. In the end, we displayed a bit of heart and soulful inspiration behind each piece. Bonus: authentic site content I could access.
Selling wearable designs inspired the look of "fabric" color blocks behind images throughout the site.

The owner of LLN and I worked together regularly in an effort to make her new ideas possible and easy to manage. Her offerings were varied, and we worked together to streamline all aspects of her business categorically.
I had very limited photography available to work with, so I tried to blend what she did have with what WiX offered in stock, without ever allowing it to look "out of the box".
Notably, her clients are seniors and her offerings are predominantly virtual; her site needed to be easy to navigate.

This project gave me access to the Shopify platform. I learned about menu collections, tags, types, product image sizing (for tidiness) and a general endurance for this type of work.
Hired as a contractor by my previous employer, my goal was to ensure branding felt fresh and separate from other sides of the business, while ensuring immediate visual emphasis on the boating lifestyle.
A Phase-1 buildout of a business intelligence solution that can take existing business information and turn it into actionable reporting. In short... humanize the data so every day managers can make informed decisions!
That said, this describes my task pretty fairly... I was to make data language both visual and friendly. I worked from a sales deck and reports, and was challenged to create a single-page site that could help answer some questions, but also provide just enough information that prospective clients inquire for more information.
